Privacy Policy

Last Updated: November 29, 2025

Welcome to Zektra ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our decentralized compute services (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. No Collection of Decrypted User Data

Zektra is a privacy-first platform built on Zero-Knowledge (ZK) and Homomorphic Encryption (HE) technologies. Our core architecture is designed such that we technically cannot access the content of the datasets you upload for training.

  • Data in Transit & At Rest: All data uploaded to the Zektra network is encrypted client-side before it ever leaves your device. We do not possess the private keys required to decrypt this data.
  • Data in Use: Computations are performed on ciphertext (encrypted data). The compute nodes in our network never see the plaintext data.

2. Information We Do Collect

While we do not collect your training data, we may collect metadata and operational information necessary to run the Service:

  • Account Information: Email address (for waitlist/beta access), wallet addresses, and username.
  • Usage Data: Log data such as IP address, browser type, access times, and pages viewed. This is used solely for security monitoring, DDoS protection, and platform optimization.
  • Blockchain Data: Transactions made on the Zektra network are public on the blockchain. While these do not reveal your dataset contents, they do reveal transaction metadata (e.g., timestamp, gas fees, proof hashes).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Manage the waitlist and send you updates regarding the beta launch.
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent activity, security breaches, and unauthorized access.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. No Liability for Decentralized Compute

Zektra acts as a protocol layer connecting data owners with compute providers. We are not responsible for the actions of third-party compute nodes. While our ZK-Proof verification system is designed to ensure computational integrity, you acknowledge that use of a decentralized network involves inherent risks, including but not limited to smart contract bugs and protocol exploits. You agree that Zektra shall not be liable for any loss of data, tokens, or profits arising from your use of the decentralized network.

5. Beta & Testnet Disclaimer

The Service is currently in a Beta/Testnet phase. Features may change, break, or be removed. Data stored on the Testnet may be wiped at any time. By joining the Beta, you acknowledge that the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied.

6. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us via our official social media channels or at [email protected].
